I am a BSc 2:2 (Hons) graduate of Internet Technologies. I have been able to develop experience in a range of areas including XHTML, CSS and Web Standards and Accessibility.
I also have experience in data entry and office administration. This has enabled me to develop skills in promoting activities and events to individuals and local businesses. I have a proven ability to manage my time accordingly to ensure that tasks are completed on time.

Omega the National Association for End of Life Care
I support colleagues including those who work remotely to deliver regular Meeting Point Support Group activities. This involves communicating with other organisations to gather up to date information and resources suitable for circulation to group beneficiaries. I also ensure that events and activities are promoted both online and offline via communication with Omega supporters and beneficiaries.

This was a volunteer placement at County Training, part of Shropshire Council. My role involved adding to and updating Evolve, an in-house intranet database system used to keep track of registered job seekers and match them with possible employers.

Quantum Network and Promotions
I was responsible for designing W3 compliant ecommerce websites and content management systems. I liaised with graphic design and coding colleagues and also the client when necessary to offer support and guidance. I was also required to test websites in multiple browsers and report any issues which were found.

This was a six week placement as part of my degree. I was involved on a project to redesign the current website by making use of research skills to identify similar websites and advise on appropriate changes.

2008 - 2013 - Shrewsbury Round Table
As a member of Round Table, I held the position of Treasurer. My responsibility was to ensure that all members' payments were received and the Table's accounts were balanced. I produced reports for use and discussion at our business meetings.
Prior to this, I held the position of Press and PR officer. I made contact with local media organisations and contacted them with news updates and upcoming events. I was also responsible for ensuring the Shrewsbury Round Table website was kept up to date.
2001 - 2003 - Student Union President and Webmaster
My responsibilities included liaising with fellow students and college staff and representing students on the college's governing body. As Union President, I oversaw the work of other committee members and negotiated with external organisations and sponsors.
